We aim to be clear and open about the cost of your treatment, and you will always be given a fixed price for treatment following your initial consultation, prior to any surgery.

Costs may vary depending on the precise nature of your treatment.  The following guide prices are based on typical treatment, and are inclusive of surgery, medication, and post-operative follow-up if applicable.

For treatment room procedures, such as chalazion drainage or the removal of benign eyelid lesions, it is sometimes possible to carry out the procedure on the same day as your initial consultation.  The cost of the consultation and the cost of the procedure will still apply in these circumstances.

Medical insurance

We are happy to provide invoices which you may submit to medical insurance companies.  However, it should be noted that many insurers cap the maximum fee they are willing to pay, or in some cases will refuse to recognise surgeons who do not accept the capped fee (are not 'fee-assured').

As a patient, you remain liable for the cost of your treatment.  We will not invoice insurers directly, with the exception of Aviva.

We advise that you contact your insurance company prior to booking a consultation to establish whether they are willing to reimburse you for some or all of your treatment fees.
